Handyman Services
Handyman services at NJ Rojas Contracting are intended for small repairs, maintenance, and minor improvements that can be completed efficiently without permits, subcontractors, or extensive project management.
These services are ideal for homeowners who want reliable, professional help with everyday home issues—handled with attention to detail and respect for the home.
What Handyman Services Include
Handyman work is performed directly by us and does not involve hiring subcontractors or outside trade partners. Projects are typically limited in scope and completed in a single visit or short timeframe.
Common handyman services include:
- Drywall repair and patching
- Painting and touch-ups
- Trim, baseboard, and finish carpentry
- Door, hardware, and fixture adjustments
- Light fixture, faucet, and fan replacements
- Minor carpentry and repairs
- General home maintenance
- Punch-list and small improvement items
If a project grows beyond the scope of handyman services, we’ll explain that clearly before moving forward and discuss whether it should be handled as a general contracting project.
Handyman Pricing Structure
We believe that pricing should be clear, fair, and consistent
$180 Minimum Labor Charge
$120/hour thereafter + materials
- For smaller repairs, maintenance, and general handyman services, a $180 minimum labor charge applies to each appointment.
- Once the minimum labor charge has been met, additional labor is billed at $120 per hour.
- Materials and any project-specific expenses are additional and will be discussed with you before work proceeds.
- For larger projects, renovations, or work with a clearly defined scope, we provide custom project pricing rather than hourly billing.
Not Sure If Your Project Qualifies?
Many homeowners aren’t sure whether a project should be handled as handyman work or general contracting—and that’s okay. We’re happy to review photos, answer questions, and help determine the best approach.
